The rapid growth of tecnology and its economic impact on the shipping industry has undoubtedly generated unexplored aspects of knowledge. such as responding the question, what is the acceptable time or usefull life of a vessel? This question opens up endless edges that not only involve commercial issues, but also intrinsically touch on environmental and social factors that must de approached in detail.
