Abstract

The control of maritime traffic in jurisdicitonal waters and national ports is the responsibilitu of the Colombian Maritime Authority (Dimar in Spanish), in coordination with the Colombian National Navy (ARC in Spanish) and the General Superintendence of Ports. Taking the above into account, Di mar has a network of maritime traffic control stations, in arder to ensure safety in the development of activities far the arrival and departure of vessels in the main ports of the country.
