Abstract

In order to expand and publicize the climatic characteristics of the Ecuadorian coast in 2018, the analysis of the temperatures and the accumulated precipitation of the monthly data series of the year 2018 was performed and that they were statistically compared with the same parameters, from 1981 – 2017 period, with the objective of knowing the annual thermal and rainfall behavior of the coastal profile of Ecuador, taking as reference the climatic information of the INOCAR coastal weather stations network, evidencing trends of increases in temperatures and deficits in the rainfall period of the year mentioned above.
