Abstract

Sea surface Temperature (SST) time serie obtained on the Colombian Pacific Ocean (CPO), were constructed for six previously identified homogeneous zones in the study region. Use information was registered by National Maritime Direction, DIMAR, in oceanographic campaigns from 1972 to 2002. Constructed time series will serve from now on, as initial data as much for studies on incidence of natural phenomena and human made actions in the evolution and structure of oceanographic and climatological parameters of the region, as well as for the development of projects on this incidence in economic and social aspects of the nation.
