Abstract

This study is a contribution to the knwoledge, distribution, habitat and characteristics of the marine organisms and the risk related to the areas in wich the main diving activities are carried arround Cartagena (Bocachica Shoals and the Rosario Islands). With bibliographic material as a base, different dive surveys were done in the areas states and in each underwater video recordings were made with the final purpose of a documental teaching video that could serve the different underwater training centers or related activities. Since october 1992 there are video recordings of the differents organisms, mainly invertebrates. the information will be completed to cover a one year cicle that could cover the different seasonal changes present in the zone (rain-dry seasons).
