Abstract

One of the priorities of the Notional Government, set out in the National Development Plan (NDP), is tostrengthen the cannectivity af the different means of transport with nodo/ efficiency , so as to optimize the logistical processes necessary for foreign trade operations carried out in the main ports of the country. Our challenge is to cannect the country through an intermodal infrastrueture system and camprehensive logistics, where transport is not seen as a chain link, but ratherway integral within a efficiency and campetitiveness process. In this regard, we hove directed the sector's policies to boost foreign trade and improve the World Bank's Logistics Performance, lndex (LPI), 1which in 2018 reflected that Colombia ranks 58th out of 160 cauntries, improving 36 places campared to 2016.
