Abstract
Zooplankton's spatial-temporal variation at ten stations located inside the road of Tumaco was characterized by monthly samples which were collected from may to October of 1999. 21 zooplankton's organisms groups were identified with the copépodos, larvas of crustácea decápoda, bivalve, pterópoda and quetognatos being copépodos the most dominant and frequents including the others ones. Accumulative percentages in time were determined. September appears with a reproductive value for commercial importance and human consumption species like crutacea and bivale. A total of 10 groups, with frequencies greater than 50%, were considered as constant for Tumaco Bay. Abundance peaks were spatially and temporally variable. Maximum and mínimum station's values were observed in July and May respectively.
