Abstract

In Colombia, the work of man y entities that build a maritime country within the framework of the National Technical Committee of Maritime Culture (CTN-CUL), led by the Colombian Ocean Commission, work on the formulation of policy instruments that provide an approach to know, quantify and / or protect the Maritime Cultural Heritage, whether tangible or intangible; That is why the National Policy of the Ocean and Coastal Spaces - PNOEC, has a special section that guides actions that allow maritime culture to be positioned on the national public agenda. Therefore, this article shows the relationship between the PNOEC's fines of action and other instruments, such as CONPES Bioceanico 3990. Once the particular actions for each policy are known, it is evident that PNOEC aspires to the recognition of cultural heritage maritime with a holistic vision and not only attending to the Submerged Cultural Heritage.
