Abstract

The biological studies are parto! the proposed objetives included in the monitoring of "El Niño" phenomena (ERFEN) conducted by the RESEARCH OCEANOGRAPHIC GEN TER (CIOH) since 1981. The monitoring study area ín the colombian Pacific is between 2' to 6c lat .N and 77° 40" to 82° long. W. This paper shows the results obtained duríng the two oceanographics cruises on 1991; the phytoplancton dominant groups were dínoflagelates and diatoms.
